This year we have had a great monsoon season. We have been hearing about this season since we moved here a year and a half ago. At first we thought everyone was fibbing since we didn't get a single drop of rain for over 6 months. This season has proved them all right.
A couple days ago we went up to Hatch, NM to go to Sparky's for (AMAZING) Green Chili Cheeseburgers, and we decided to take the scenic route home.
We got to drive through some crazy river arroyo's and then we saw these beauties, a herd of horses. We had to stop and look. I think it is the first time Maja remembers seeing horses up close. She was a little weary, but she loved them and didn't want to leave.
I sure do love horses myself.
Burklie likes them too.
